Meet Vithushan, your Pilates instructor in Toronto
I was a software engineer for over a decade working at big tech companies like Spotify, Instagram and Duolingo. Over that time I noticed that myself and many of my colleages were developing poor posture and movement patterns. Everywhere I looked, I saw tech neck, rounded shoulders and tight hip flexors.
My deskbound lifestyle led to postural and muscle imbalances that compounded over time and eventually led to a shoulder injury. My physical therapist suggested I try Pilates to help me recover from the injury. I was amazed at how it helped me recover and improve my overall alignment, strength and mobility.
I decided to become a Pilates instructor to help people move better, feel stronger, and build lasting body awareness.
